In the past she was known for being a protégeé of Prince and the wife -- now ex -- of Dennis Rodman, but now she's come into her own with success on TV and in movies such as this year's hit Scary Movie. carmenelectra	Absolutely! I can definitely say I'm attracted to bad boys -- I do like someone with an edge to him. But being in a relationship with someone else who is famous can be difficult. Being with someone with a regular life would be great!
guest70	Carmen, how did you enjoy your day with Howard Stern?
carmenelectra	I had so much fun on his show -- I think I was on for two hours! They had a fan who came on and told Howard he would do anything to meet me. So he had to take a bath with another man, an erotic gay bath. Then I met him and he was really sweet.
guest160	Hello Carmen, what was it like dating B-Real from Cypress Hill?
carmenelectra	Oh, B-Real is a sweetheart. We were together four years; his mother is like my mother and I love them so much. They will always be part of my life.
guest125	Would you rather date someone younger or older than you?
carmenelectra	Good question! I tend to go for men who are a little bit older. I like to be with someone I can learn from, someone with experience who can teach me something.
guest13	How did you become such a "sex kitten"?
carmenelectra	(laughs) I've always admired movie stars such as Ann-Margret and Marilyn Monroe. As a child, I would dress up in my mom's clothes and copy them -- after a while it became a part of who I am. I still love that glamour -- it's fun to play that role.
guest143	Who is your favorite entertainer?
carmenelectra	Let me see.... I know this sounds corny, but I kind of like Britney Spears. I think she's an amazing dancer, and I like to watch her onstage. I do!
guest45	What is Howard Stern like off-camera?
carmenelectra	He's very down-to-earth, very sweet. He's a gentleman.
guest75	Hi Carmen! What was it like dating Fred Durst?
carmenelectra	It was very short -- oops, sorry! Didn't mean it that way! I mean we dated for only two months, and he was on the road a lot. I'm a big fan of his music, so it was fun!
guest89	Are you going to do more photo shoots in the future?
carmenelectra	Absolutely! I love being in front of the camera.
guest20	Are you going to get all decked out for Halloween tomorrow?
carmenelectra	Yes, I'm going on Regis first thing, and I guess I'm going to dress up as Rapunzel. I have this long wig that actually touches the floor. I was here in New York for the weekend, so I didn't go to any Halloween parties this year. I was at the Mansion last year, as a kitten with a whip. That was a movie with Ann-Margret!

carmenelectra	Awww....
guest160	Carmen, are you done with your singing career?
carmenelectra	No, absolutely not! I'm always in the studio -- I have a lot of friends who are producers, so I'm constantly working on demos and hopefully we'll put everything together soon and have a record.
mikeb909	How long did it take to shoot your new pictorial? (Wonderful photos, by the way!)
carmenelectra	About four days. I shot with Arny Freytag, who I shot with last time -- I wanted the same team. I thought that the pictorial had a very sweet element to it, very soft. I got to have input, except for the cover shot. There, I'm supposed to be in a Christmas ornament, and it was really uncomfortable! Everyone thinks it's cute -- I was unsure at first, but I'm starting to love it now. It took about three hours to glue all those little rhinestones on my body for the cover shot.
guest31	Why did you choose Electra as your last name? Is it because you can give an electric discharge to anyone who gets close to you, or because you turn men on?
carmenelectra	Because my vibrator's electric, and.... (laughs) Actually, when I was coming out with my record, there was an artist out by the name of Carmen, so we came up with the name Electra because of the way I dance -- I dance with a lot of energy.
guest160	What's your favorite thing to do when you want to relax?
carmenelectra	I love to take long, hot baths, with different oils. I light candles and play salsa or classical music. Oh, and I like to go to Beverly Hot Springs and get a massage and a hot scrub.
guest250	Who has been the biggest influence in your career?
carmenelectra	I would have to say Prince. Just watching him work in the studio really inspired me to work hard and set goals for myself. I haven't talked with him in years -- we just never got back in touch.

carmenelectra	After marrying Dennis Rodman, I'm really not afraid of much!
guest171	What's your dream role for the future?
carmenelectra	I would love to continue doing films, particularly a musical.
guest222	Where can we see you next? In a film?
carmenelectra	A movie called Perfume with Omar Epps. I play Omar's girlfriend -- it's about the fashion industry. It should be out early next year.
guest75	Carmen, how much do you work out? You have a beautiful body.
carmenelectra	I try to work out almost every day, but it's hard to maintain that schedule. I love to go to the gym and do Tae-Bo.
guest246	How are your relationships with the other former Baywatch babes?
carmenelectra	I'm still very good friends with Yasmine Bleeth, but I don't really keep in touch with anyone else.
guest312	Would you consider yourself a role model for today's youth?
carmenelectra	I think so, because of all the experiences I've been through. Kids will listen to what you have to say if you've already been through it.
guest78	What part of Cincinnati are you from?
carmenelectra	I grew up in White Oaks. It's the 'burbs. But I went to school downtown, the School for Creative and Performing Arts.
guest92	I want to make it in the entertainment business; do you have any suggestions on how to get started?
carmenelectra	Just to study and get as good as you can at whatever you want to do, set goals and don't give up -- stay focused.

carmenelectra	Absolutely!

carmenelectra	Yes, very.

carmenelectra	I definitely want to have children someday, but right now I'm focused on my career.

carmenelectra	From time to time.

carmenelectra	I would love to do Playboy again -- I have so much fun shooting with them.
guest189	What made you want to be in Playboy in the first place?
carmenelectra	I think being a dancer, I've always been very comfortable with my body. I've never been afraid of my sexuality. As a little girl, I would sneak into my parents' closet and look at Playboy, and I always thought the girls were very sexy. It was a dream of mine. I buy Playboy now -- I think Special Editions model Lisa Boyle is really pretty, and I've seen Jaime Bergman in my Tae-Bo class and on Howard Stern. She had no makeup and was still extremely beautiful.
guest111	Describe the most difficult aspect of being a celebrity today.
carmenelectra	Being judged by the entire world, having no privacy. But the advantages are being able to do what I love to do, being in front of the camera -- and getting free stuff. Being able to travel the world is a huge plus too.
guest45	Will you be making any appearances in Philadelphia to promote your Playboy pictorial? (Not that you need promoting.)
carmenelectra	Unfortunately, I won't be touring, but I'll be making a lot of appearances on talk shows.
guest119	Where are you going to be for Spring Break 2001?
carmenelectra	Every year I like to go to MTV Spring Break, so hopefully I'll be there next year. This year it was all about The Thong Song! (sings part of Thong Song)
guest222	What made you change your name from Tara Patrick to Carmen?
carmenelectra	It was during the time I had a record deal with Prince, and there was another artist out named Tara Kemp, so we figured we should come up with a different name. That's when Carmen Electra was born. It's also when the drag queen in me came out! I couldn't let my man wear more makeup than me!
guest427	What was it like filming Scary Movie?
carmenelectra	It was cold! I had to shoot a scene in a sprinkler with a bra and panties on, so I was freezing!
guest12	What is the craziest thing you have done?
carmenelectra	Whoa! Besides marrying Dennis? I got naked at a pool party once. It was kind of a dare, but no one could see -- it was at night.
guest372	What are some of your turn-ons?
carmenelectra	I like a man who is strong and in charge, someone who's very confident, who takes control and makes me feel helpless. My turnoffs are cowboy boots, tight jeans, too much hair and wimpy men.

carmenelectra	I love to go to concerts, so my ideal would be to see someone perform live.
guest191	What's it like meeting guys? Do you ever wonder if they are with you for the right reasons?
carmenelectra	Yes, it's so hard to meet people now, because I don't know if people love me for who I am or for the image.

carmenelectra	Someone who is real and can just be themselves. It's simple.
guest432	How did you get your start in modeling?
carmenelectra	I started modeling when I was about eight years old, in local magazines in Cincinnati, and then when I moved to LA. I think my first modeling job was my first pictorial with Playboy. My career took off with the record Prince produced, and then came Playboy and then MTV and Baywatch.
guest37	What was it like working for MTV?
carmenelectra	It was so much fun -- I love MTV. I love to go on any show they have -- it's like a party, not work.
guest501	If you could be anyone else for a day, who would it be?
carmenelectra	Good question! Hmm, I don't know -- Madonna?
guest85	What are some of your favorite bands?
carmenelectra	Let's start off with Limp Bizkit, Jay-Z, Nelly.... I'm away from my car -- all my CDs are in my car!

carmenelectra	Sex on the Beach!

carmenelectra	Yes, I have two little baby Chihuahuas, six weeks old, named Lola and Rosa.

carmenelectra	I wouldn't change anything I've done. There's not one thing I regret.

carmenelectra	Yes, one of my favorites is The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. Also, a book I brought with me to New York that is called The Mastery of Love.

carmenelectra	My girlfriends and my dad.
guest296	Carmen, you were hot on Stern's show today -- great appearance. Are you going to go out with him if he asks?
carmenelectra	I love Howard, and if he were to ask me out, I'd love to go. He's probably online right now -- he's probably the one who asked that!
guest290	Tell us about your audition for Scary Movie. How did you land the part?
carmenelectra	I had to audition like everybody else: It was crazy to try to act out that scene in a room with Keenan staring at me.
guest111	What is your favorite scary movie?
carmenelectra	The Exorcist -- I haven't seen the new version yet though.
guest99	Did you like showing off your beautiful body?
carmenelectra	(laughs) I think I'm very comfortable showing my body. I love to express my body through movement.

carmenelectra	I think maybe two -- a boy and a girl.
guest98	Where in the world is your favorite place that you have been?
carmenelectra	My favorite place to go out and have fun is Miami, and my favorite place to vacation is Hawaii.

carmenelectra	Joe Blasco foundation in Summertone, pink lipstick and pink gloss, black eyeliner, a soft pink eyeshadow and glitter -- I love glitter.

carmenelectra	I would love to be cloned, because I would send out my clone to do all the work while I had fun.

carmenelectra	I try to eat healthy, but I love junk food. When I have a craving I just go for it. Pizza, Chinese food, ice cream, soul food and Cuban food are my favorites.

carmenelectra	I will be going back to my hotel and going to sleep so I can get up for Regis tomorrow.

carmenelectra	My eyes. You can tell everything through a person's eyes.

carmenelectra	It wasn't cold, it was all indoors.

carmenelectra	I think tattoos are incredibly sexy! I don't have any, but if I were to get one it would have to be really special, my mother's name or something.

carmenelectra	I'd love Robert Downey Jr. He seems like he'd be a lot of fun.

carmenelectra	No, I don't have one yet -- I'm in the process of getting one.

carmenelectra	My mom back. I miss her, I miss being able to pick up the phone and talk with her about my problems. I feel like I can't trust anyone else.

carmenelectra	Happiness is from within. You can't buy it. It's a thing you have to find within yourself.

carmenelectra	I think this pictorial is better than the last one, because it seems like everything was much more planned out -- it has a theme and a story.
guest90	What are the differences between LA and Cincinnati?
carmenelectra	LA is much more fast-paced; Cincinnati is more laid-back. The weather's always good in LA. Ever since my mom passed away, I haven't been back to Cincinnati, but I know I need to get back soon and be with my family.

carmenelectra	Absolutely, I love it!
